Where leadership begins

Family Unity

Our Four-Year Rotation allows for family discussions around common themes because multiple grades are studying the same subject matter at differing levels of complexity.  See the chart below to understand how this works across subjects and grades.

To the right, you’ll find a sample daily schedule illustrating how families can come together around the school table for shared learning across multiple subjects. This unified learning time is listed first, but it can be scheduled before or after lunch, depending on your family’s preferences and needs.

The second session focuses on independent work, where students of different ages work individually at the school table while the parent circulates, offering support and guidance as needed. This approach helps keep students focused and ensures they receive assistance when required.

Independent Work - Assist each student as needed:

  • Math
  • Phonics/Spelling or Grammar
  • Reading – selected book for genre study:  3rd grade and above
  • Composition:  3rd grade and above

Bring your family together around the school table to create a shared, enriching learning experience, and watch as your family grows in both faith and knowledge.
